Impasto Ware pieces were made by Doulton from as early are 1875 right up to the beginning of the first world war (1914). The pieces are quite similar for faience, but the main difference are the flowers are all in relief.
This pair is dated 1879 and stands 10.5 tall. They are in great shaped with no cracks repairs or chips. There are two small ware flakes to two of the flowers.
They were made by FM Collins who worked for only 2 years in the lambeth studios, as she unfortunately died in 1880.
