Beswick Lying Shire Mare in Grey Gloss Model 2459

Beswick Lying Shire Mare Model 2459 in Grey Gloss is one of the rarest and most distinctive shire studies ever produced by the Beswick factory, standing 5 inches tall and capturing the mare in an exceptional recumbent pose. Produced from 1973 to 1976 only, the mere three-year production window combined with the uncommon Grey Gloss colourway makes this an outstanding find for serious collectors of Beswick ceramic horse figures.
