Mexican Dancer (HN2866) was designed by Margaret Davies and produced by Royal Doulton in 1979 as a limited edition of only 750 pieces worldwide. Standing 8.25" tall, this vibrant figurine is one of 12 pieces in the prestigious Dancers of the World series (First Series), depicting a female dancer in traditional Mexican folkloric costume and capturing the energy and color of Mexican cultural dance. Comes with original plinth.

Margaret Davies created the complete first series of Dancers of the World, with Mexican Dancer showcasing her exceptional attention to traditional costume detail including elaborate embroidery, flowing skirts, and the dramatic pose suggesting mid-performance energy.
